The Infants practiced some baby yoga with me!
Rosie and I were doing "cheers" with our toes!
Molly is sitting on a mat!
Tatum is working her arm muscles!
I think today was the 1st time all the babies were awake and ready to join!
The older kiddos explored some conscious discipline activities. I made little stations all around the chapel. These activities provided opportunities for physical exertion and deep breathing. As the friends completed each activity, they gave themselves a sticker!
I gave each child a small piece of paper with the numbers 1-8 written on it. The stations were labeled 1-8 and there were stickers near each one. As the friends completed each activity, they added a sticker to their paper.
Iris is "stomping it out" She thought this was pretty silly!
Magdalena is trying a couple yoga poses :-)
The "flex it out" station was a favorite!
Silas is pushing the wall! I told the kiddos to see if they can push the wall over ;)
4's
Linden is doing some breathing and counting with the stars!
This station is a calming breathing activity. You breathe and run your finger over each color of the rainbow. Boden is showing us how to do it!
Milo is using a breathing wand. He smelled the flower and now he is blowing the pinwheel! This promotes deep, slow breathing!
The toddlers had fun with scarves and yoga mats!
Can you stand on a mat? Yes we can!!
We practiced marching on our mats too. March! March! March!
Next, I pulled some scarves out of a backpack. We shook them up high and down low. We even tickled our toes with them!
Can you sit on a mat? Yes we can!
We can crawl on our mats too!
