St. Patrick's Day Fun

Over the past couple weeks, we celebrated St. Patrick's Day

The kiddos got to walk through a rainbow and across the "shamrock street"

The older classes found some green shamrocks too!
Here they come.....

Go Kavan!
It's Iris' turn   :-)
Remy is walking across!

Please excuse the blurry pictures. The children were moving so quickly as they were so excited!

We love using the breathing ball to help us belly breathe....

The 4's class tried a super tricky horseshoe pose! This required lots of balance.
Landon's turn!!
This is the shamrock pose. I told the kiddos to do downward dog and then lift one leg way up in the air.  Way to go friends!

Charlie and Bennett are walking across the shamrock street!

Avery was so excited to come in!!

Toddlers and Scarves!

I brought a Mickey Mouse bag filled with scarves to the toddler room.  They were pretty excited!
We waved our scarves all around!
We tossed the scarves in the air....

Each scarf looks and feels a little different.

We played with the breathing stars too....   These are a classroom favorite!

We had so much fun!

Ice Skating Party with the 4's/ school agers

A couple weeks ago on one of the days that the "big kids" didn't have school I decided to throw an ice skating party!  I found some "party lights" and built an ice skating rink out of blocks.

We had to wave "hello" with our feet to get warmed up.    :-)
We also used our breathing ball to help us take a few big deep breaths.
I called the kiddos up one at a time and told them choose a pair of  "Ice skates"  (wax paper pieces)

Hey Wells!

Look at George go!

Sophie's got the moves!

Wells and Zane are discovering that you can slide around on your hands as well!
Georgia is trying it too!
Addie was feeling very proud    :-)

I grabbed a few spot markers for the friends to skate around.

Zane, Kyliegh, and Rowan are wearing them on their heads like "safety helmets."
